Civil Law
Civil law is a primary branch of Slovak private law. It is divided into civil material law and law of civil proceedings.
Civil material law regulates social personal and property relationships between natural persons and legal entities and between these persons and the state. Besides these typical civil law relationships, also further social relationships of immaterial nature as personal immaterial rights are the subject matter of the civil law.
